3. Scoring & Winning

Step 1: Game Setup

(Facilitator's Zone)

Here’s how the game master prepares everything, from questions to team rosters, ensuring a smooth start.

1. Create or Load Game

Generate new questions via AI (provide Title, Topic, # of Questions) OR load a saved game file (.json).

⬇️

2. Review & Edit Questions

Examine all questions and answers. Edit text, points, add/delete answers or entire questions. Crucial: Total points per question: 75-95 (max 100).

⬇️

3. Finalize & Proceed

(Optional: Download questions). Click "Finalize & Proceed to Team Names" when set.

⬇️

4. Enter Team Names

On the Pre-Game Screen, input names for Team A and Team B. Hit "Start Game!"

Step 2: How to Play a Round

(Player Action!)

This is where the fun happens! Each round involves buzzing in, guessing answers, and strategic plays to win points.

🏁A. Starting & Buzz-In (Face-Off)

  1. A new question is shown. One player from each team is ready.
  2. Players "Buzz In". First to buzz answers. Aim for a top answer!
  3. If #1 Answer: Your team controls the board.
  4. If On Board (Not #1): Other team tries for a *higher* answer to steal control. If they fail, first team keeps control.
  5. If Not On Board: Other team tries for *any* answer to gain control. If they also fail, first team (buzzer) usually plays.

πŸ“‹B. Playing the Board (Team in Control)

  1. Team members take turns guessing remaining answers.
  2. Correct Answer: Revealed, points go to "Round Bank", strikes reset. Team continues.
  3. Incorrect Answer: Get a "Strike" (❌). Team continues if < 3 strikes.

❗C. Strikes & Stealing

  1. Three Strikes (❌❌❌): Your team's turn ends.
  2. Opponent's Steal Attempt: Other team gives ONE answer to try and win all points in the Round Bank.
    • Successful Steal: They get the points!
    • Failed Steal: Your team (that got 3 strikes) gets the points that were in the bank *before* the steal.
  3. Round ends after the steal attempt.

✨D. Clearing the Board

If the team in control guesses ALL answers before 3 strikes, they win all points in the Round Bank. Round ends.

Step 3: Scoring & Winning

(The Grand Finale!)

Learn how points are calculated and how the ultimate "Classroom Feud!" champion is determined.

Scoring System

  • Round Bank: Points from correct answers accumulate here.
  • Team Scores: At round's end, Round Bank points go to the round's winning team.
